Accessibility

Last updated September 15, 2026

This firm wants its website to be usable by everyone, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard on its own, magnification, or captions. This page says what has been done, what is known to fall short, and how to reach the firm if something is in your way.

What we aim for

The site is built towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, level AA, which is the standard Ontario law refers to. It has not been audited against that standard by an outside assessor, so this page describes what has been checked rather than claiming conformance.

What has been checked

Every page is measured before it is published: text is checked against the background it sits on, including over photographs and on every slide of the moving banner, at desktop, tablet and phone widths; each page has one main heading with the rest ordered under it; every image carries a text description; and the pages are checked for content that spills off a phone screen.

Known limits

The banner on the home page moves by itself and can be stepped through with its arrows. The site has not been tested with every combination of screen reader and browser. If you meet something that does not work, please say so and it will be looked at.

Getting this page's information another way

If you would like anything on this site in another format — large print, plain text, or read to you over the phone — ask the firm and it will be arranged at no charge. There may be a wait while it is prepared.

Telling the firm about a problem

Email info@ashantilaw.ca or call (416) 792-4500 with the page address and what went wrong. The firm aims to reply within thirty days, and will say what it can do and when.
